Glow-All-Out with Novelties
Here’s a bright idea that will really light up your celebration: Make it a “Glow Party!” You can turn any ordinary event into a dazzling display of luminous color with a few glow in the dark decorations and accessories. Here are suggestions for themes that are perfect for a glow in the dark party:
Homecoming
Pass out glow in the dark accessories for the students to wear to the Big Game, such as glow in the dark necklaces, bracelets, rings, mouthpieces, clackers, and handclappers.
Prom Night
Turn plain old Prom Night into a glow in the dark wonderland of lights. Decorate the room with glow in the dark stars and beaded curtains. Set glow sticks around the room. Serve the punch in glow in the dark cups with swizzle sticks and use glow in the dark party plates. Paint signs on posters with glow in the dark paint pens, and let the students sign the posters. Give the students glow in the dark bracelets, necklaces, and rings to wear with their prom clothes. Pass out light-up pens to sign yearbooks.
Christmas
On Christmas Eve, do some caroling through the neighborhood carrying glow sticks, galaxy wands, mini flashlights, pinwheels, and glow in the dark jewelry.
New Years
New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to brighten up the party. Give the guests glow in the dark bracelets, necklaces, and rings. Serve drinks from glow in the dark cups and shot glasses with swizzle sticks. Write New Year’s resolutions in glow in the dark pens. Play a game of glow in the dark suction cup darts or have a yo-yo contest. At midnight pass out glow in the dark clackers, handclappers, and maracas, and wave light spinners and wand flashlights.
Mardi Gras
Celebrate Mardi Gras with a glow in the dark party. Decorate the room with glow in the dark beaded curtains. Bring out the glow sticks, pinwheels, and flashing wands. Dress the revelers in glow in the dark jewelry and body glitter. Serve the drinks in glow in the dark cups. Have guests give each other glow in the dark tattoos.
Halloween
Add an extra scare to your Halloween Haunted House with glow in the dark decorations, such as glow in the dark spooky skeletons, sticky eyeballs, goofy glasses, fake teeth and fangs, sidewalk chalk body outlines, green makeup, bugs and snakes, spider rings, fingers and brains, footprints, and green slime.
Birthday Parties
Make your child’s next birthday party extra special with a glow in the dark theme. Decorate with glow in the dark party products, cups, plates, stars on the walls and ceiling. When the guests arrive, greet them with glow in the dark bracelets, glow necklaces, rings, flashing wands, tattoos, nail polish, and body glitter. Turn off the lights and play games with glow in the dark yo-yos, bouncing balls, spinning balls, return balls, tops, suction cup darts, light spinners, swords, disks, Slinkies, and foam flyers.
Camp-Outs
Light up the backyard Camp-Out Party with glow in the dark eyes and stars on the fence, and lizards, bugs and snakes in the yard and in the tent. Give the kids glow sticks, flashlights, flashing rings, and flashing wands. Have contests with glow in the dark suction cup darts, swords, disks, and foam flyers. Create a treasure hunt with glow in the dark toys hidden throughout the yard or have the campers follow mysterious glow in the dark footprints to the treasure.
Sleepovers
Set up a shimmering sleepover scene with glow in the dark decorations, games, and activities. Stick glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. Pass out glow in the dark bracelets, necklaces, and rings to wear with their pajamas. Give the kids glow in the dark flashing wands, yo-yos, pinwheels, and balls to play with. Have them create their own glow in the dark t-shirts with pens and paints. Set out glow in the dark slime or putty and let them create something unique! Let them give each other makeovers, with glow in the dark tattoos, nail polish, body glitter, makeup. Serve the party food on glow in the dark paper products – plates, cups, swizzle sticks. Send the guests home with glow in the dark lollypops, rubber duckies, and jewelry.
