I guess I’m feeling a bit fruity today.
With summer on its sunny way, I wanted to find a way to take the edge off the upcoming heat. So I crafted this cool and refreshing fruit album! I filled mine to the brim with all my favorite summertime treats…tropical drinks with little umbrellas, hamburgers on the grill, tasty fruit salad topped with toasted almonds. But before you run off to the kitchen, let’s cook up this Fruit-Tastic Recipe Card Album!
Ingredients:
1 Chipboard Recipe Card Holder
1 Sheet of Home Cookin’ Stamps
1 Fruit Salad Paper Kit, separated
2 Fruit Salad Flowers
Dash of organza ribbon
Directions:
1. Create a background using your favorite Fruit Album paper.
2. Embellish with flowers and brads, tags and more.
3. Using the Home Cookin’ stamp set, stamp the recipe card in the corner.
4. Fancy up the binder rings with organza ribbons and Fruit Salad tags.
5. Scrap each of the 20 pages with your own favorite recipes.
Combine your best kitchen efforts with your best scrapbooking efforts, and you’ll have a recipe book you can treasure for years to come.

Award-Winning Watermelon Salsa
Ingredients:
4 cups ripe seedless watermelon
¼ cup green bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons green onion (both green and white), chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped (add to taste)
1 ripe lime, juiced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, minced (add to taste)
1 teaspoon kosher salt (add to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons red bell pepper, chopped (optional)
Directions:
1. Chop the watermelon in small bite-sized pieces, removing any seeds. In a colander, let the melon drain for about a half hour. One medium-sized watermelon should yield four drained cups of melon.
2. Combine the rest of the ingredients with the drained watermelon.
